PSL transfer news: Latest rumours from Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns & all PSL teams

The South African transfer window officially opened on 1 July and several PSL teams have already announced player acquisitions, including Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, and Kaizer Chiefs.

Sundowns were crowned PSL champions but were eliminated from the Caf Champions League at the semi-final stage and will have to cope with likely African Super League assignments next season. This could see them go all-out in the transfer market to strengthen their squad.

Bucs have qualified for next season's Champions League and will need to beef up their squad to compete in both continental and domestic competitions.

Chiefs, on the other hand, finished yet another season empty-handed and stumbled to a fifth-placed finish in the league. Amakhosi's new manager Molefi Ntseki needs to upgrade key areas of the squad if he wants his team to challenge for trophies next season.

And now, with the PSL fixtures out and the season commencing on Friday 4 August, teams will no doubt be eager to get as much transfer business done as possible before the season starts.
